How To do Barbell Standing Calf Raise
1. With the barbell on the back of your shoulders, stand on a pad with steps. With your feet hip-width apart, position your heels off the floor.
2. Slowly raise your heels as high as possible. At this point, pause for a while as if you are squeezing your calf muscles.
3. Slowly lower your heels and return to the starting position.

Tips!
"Control the tempo of the exercise to see the full benefits of standing calf raises. Performing the movement too quickly isn’t as effective–at least in the beginning.
